As a busy mom and a dentist, I understand the time and effort that it takes to come in to the dentist office. I know how life sometimes gets in the way of taking care of yourself. The truth however is that having a beautiful, healthy, confident smile can make a huge impact on your life. I understand what a personal experience it is to see the dentist, and know what it is like to be on the other end of the dental chair. Therefore, I respect both your time and your trust in letting me take care of you and your family.
Originally from San Diego, I studied Physiology, Neuroscience, and Mathematics at UCSD, along with being a cellist in the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra. It was there that I received my Bachelor of Science degree. Immediately following, I attended the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated with honors receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. I have been listed in the Who’s Who Registry for Professionals and Businesses, and America's Best Dentists guide. I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
I have wanted to be a dentist for as long as I can remember, and have spent my life in pursuit of doing what I cherish. Dentistry is truly a passion for me and puts me in the unique position of doing many things that I love. I enjoy spending quality time taking care of, and visiting with my patients, and I love the artistic element of working with my hands. Much of the day-to-day work that I do may go unnoticed, but the truth is I am making tiny little works of art inside of peoples mouths every day. It’s a very exciting thing. Dentistry also lets me spend time with my family. I have a loving husband and two beautiful young boys, and we are lucky to call El Dorado Hills our home.
